Join author Ruby McConnell to celebrate the release of her latest book, “Wilderness & the American Spirit”. Known for her outdoor guides for women and girls, and the award-winning collection of essays “Ground Truth”, Ruby’s new book retells the story of the American West putting our national mythology in context with our current environmental crisis. The event will also feature a reading from writer Bronwynn Dean, and a music set by local favorite John Bauman.
